Sheer Dress & Sunshine
SOOO... this ones a little different from my usual, but the more I look at this dress.. the more I like it! It was one I saw in the shop, and absolutely loved, but for some reason just never brought... and then I could not stop thinking about it and how perfect it would be for summer! And I spot the most gorgeous little booties that would match perfectly and that was it, I went and got both haha! It's so different but so likeable at the same time, I love trying things out that I love but don't always go for, it's always good to go out of your comfort zones when it comes to fashion haha :)

New Make-Up Bits & Bobs
SOOO... As you all probably know from my Insta, I took a little shopping trip to get some new make-up bits. I love buying new make-up and just experimenting with it all.. and as promised, here is a little post on what I brought, how I've applied it and my thoughts on the product. Just to remind everyone once again, I'm no make-up expert or artist when it comes to applying it, so this is just how I find works best for me, and may work for some of you girlies who don't have much experience when it comes to make-up like myself :)
Pre Make-Up Selfie
1, Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
So this is a foundation that I've been meaning to try out for ages now, and seeing as though my Estee Lauder is starting to run low, I decided to invest in something new and different (I will still be buying Estee Lauder as it is my fave!). So I just apply this all over my face using a Real Techniques Contour Brush (more details into my brushes here) for a full coverage. It literally stays on the whole day, and still looks as flawless! My face feels soo soft when I wear this, and its a soft creamy foundation rather than a thick one and feels so light on my face. The best bit is as it is really creamy, you only need a tiny bit on your brush and it spreads so easily, so it should last a very long time :) I brought this foundation for around £31, which sounds a lot but it really will last. The shade I brought in this is 'Punjab' Medium 1, as this best suited my skin colour, but if you go to Selfridges like I did myself, the match you up with your skin colour perfectly :)
After foundation is applied:
2, Mac Bronzing Powder
I use this product as part of my contouring routine, as you all probably know I love contouring and try so many products out for it! The lady at Mac in Manchester used this on my and it looked so nice, so I thought I'd buy it. At first, I wasn't a fan at all, I really didn't think you could tell I was wearing it at all. Now after giving it a couple more goes, I've actually began to love it! I've been using my Urban Decay Contour Brush for this and it has started to show up really nicely. This was £21 which isn't too expensive for Mac and a good quality Bronzer, and the shade I went for was 'Matte Bronze' so I get that nice matte finish along my cheekbones :)
After Applying Mac Bronzer:
3, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact
This one I had no idea about when I brought it, I just walked straight up to Bobbi Brown counter and asked what highlighters they had (I knew I needed a highligher) and this is what the girl pointed out to me. I literally just tried a small amount on my hand but it seemed to have a really nice shimmery finish to it, and just brought it. And I'm so glad I did! This is such a nice highlighter and shows up really well with a brighter finish to the skin! I use the smaller end of my Urban Decay Contour brush for this, and the best bit is you can use a smaller brush (alike my Mac eyeshadow brush) and use it to highlight your brow bones, or even as an eyeshadow. The shade I got was 'Beige' as this is the lightest shade they do, perfect for Highlighting.. but they do so many different colours such as 'Rose' for Blusher, or 'Bronze' for a bronzer. From the Bobbi Brown counter I paid £32.50, but if you get onto Debenhams, I can see they are doing it for around £29 on offer!
After using Bobbi Brown highlighter:
4, Illamasqua Brow Gel
I thought it was about time for me to try something new for my brows as I have always just used the same thing. I really wanted to try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel, but it's so hard to get hold of or you have to pay a load of custom fee's on it, so I thought I'd give the Illamasqua Brow Gel ago. It's basically the same principle, use a small angled brow brush and shape them and fill them in used the creamy gel. It's actually really easy to do once you sort of get the hand of the brush and the texture of the gel. The actual gel itself is around £18.50.. and if you know your shade you have, the shade I brought is 'Awe', and your a student, ASOS also sell it and you can grab yourself 10% (every little helps :)). The brush however.. is £19, but it is pretty essential to get the shape and fill the brows in. On the bright side, once you have the brush, you've always got it then, it's just the gel that should need replacing :)

Holiday Attire No.1
SOOO... As my holiday is slowly approaching, I decided I would do one holiday attire per week as part of my countdown! And it is exactly 10 weeks away today (EXCITING!!). So to get the ball rolling, I have decided to show you my first holiday purchase of the year! I've had my eye on this beaut playsuit for soo long, and as soon as payday came, I just couldn't help myself! Denim is so big this year, and the easiest thing about it is that it goes with basically every colour :) I styled mine with white, just because it lightens it up a little and gives it that summer feeling!
