Triangl Bikini Review

Hi Guys!.. So here I am going to be talking a little about my new bikinis from Triangl Swimwear. For anyone who doesn't already know about them, they are an Australian company who make these famous Triangle shaped bikinis know as 'Triangl' from Neoprene fabric (the same as that used for full body swimsuits) so it is super comfy and holds it shape much better than normal bikinis.

I've had my eye on these bikinis for about a year now, but never bothered to order one until now! But instead of going for the safe option and ordering just one.. I thought I'd go with ordering two! And I'm so glad I did.. I already want to order another one!.. But due to their little expensive pricing, I think I should wait a little while before doing so :)

So I ordered these bikinis last Friday morning (12/06) and they appeared on my doorstep Tuesday morning (16/06) so took an impressive 4 days to be shipped and delivered! So the flat rat for shipping here to the UK is $20.. tad expensive, I know, but like me if you order more than one each time, it balances that cost out a bit better :)  I also expected that I may have to pay customs taxes as they were being imported, but I didn't which was a massive bonus :)

So they arrived in these amazing little bags, also made from the same material as the bikinis.. and they match the colours! So so pretty! It was also in this little Triangl packaging to keep it safe.  The bags are also drawstring so easy to carry around when your up and about on holiday :)

So.. inside each little drawstring bag is the bikini itself, wrapped in the same Triangl protective bag to keep it safe from creasing and damage. These bikinis can crease at times, which is hard to get back out from what I've learnt.. but I think these can be ironed inside out if desperate :)

The colours are actually gorgeous! They are so bright and vibrant! Definitely a summer essential in my eyes.

...
SO the first bikini I'm going to talk about is the pink and orange one, which is the 'Bambi' style in 'Candy Sunset'. So the sizes for Triangl work from XS-XL on the bikinis, both top and bottom. I'd recommend checking their sizing tables on their website just to be sure your ordering the right size :)

SO as for this bikini, the top comes from XXS-XL. As you can see below, it is a clasp back, the shoulder straps are adjustable, but the actual back strap is not! Now this is a bit of a pain if your a little like me, as I have a small back size, and larger boobs (32DD), and after reading the sizing charts about this bikini and speaking on the live chat on their website, it turned out there was NO size suitable for me. XS= 32A, S=34B, M=36C and L=38D.  I decided to take the risk anyway as I really really really wanted this bikini, and went for the M (36C).. and it actually fits perfectly!

So within the last week of me ordering them and me writing this blog, it appears that they now have extra sizes available in this bikini now.. (Size S+ and S++) which are better for those with a smaller back size and larger boobs :)

As for the bottoms, the sizing chart showed for me to have size S, but after doing my research and reading other blogs likewise to this one, I followed their advice and stepped up to the next size, and ordered a size M.  They fit just right too, I imagine the fitting is a little smaller than what the sizing chart states, so just be cautious when ordering them :)

...
SO the other bikini I ordered is the 'Lulu' style in 'Tahiti Tango', and can suit most sizes, both back and boobs as this is a tie bikini rather than a clasp, so you can tighten it as much as you want, much better :).. So for this one, the top is based purely on cup size, me being a DD was recommended on the live chat to go for the L or XL, and I decided to go for the L, which also fits perfectly, phew! I'd say if you are more a DD-E, definitely go for the XL, or if you would rather just a little bit more coverage, go up to the next size :)
As for the bottoms, I went for the Medium, the same as the other bikini, and they fit just right too :) HAPPY DAYS!
This bikini has little ties with black cubes at the ends with 'Triangl' written on which is a cute little detail, and these are all protected with tissue as you can see below to stop them getting damaged.

...
SO I hope this little blog post has helped anyone who has been/is unsure about the sizing, whether to order one.. shipping and custom taxes on these, and should you go ahead and order one? DEFINITELY.. they are beautiful :)
