Top 5 Picks: Foundation Favourites

SOMETHING that I've been thinking of doing for a while now, and after the huge success of my previous make-up posts, I thought this would be the perfect one to do from the amount of questions that I get asked about what foundation I wear. I do have my favourite one, but I also wear all five of these that I'm going to mention now.

So here are my top 5 picks, I literally love them all! But they all are quite different in terms of both the colour and the texture. Which I don't mind, because you can still create the same sort of look using them all.

1, Estee Lauder

This one is my all time favourite and I probably do wear this one the most. From the moment I brought this, I have never stopped liking it, and the amount of people that always ask me what I've got on when I do wear it because they say my skin looks amazing. It may be a little pricey but you can not go wrong with it at all, and I swear my first bottle last me for like a year, so it's really not too much when you think of it like that. You only have to use the smallest amount when you wear it because it spreads so nicely, and no lie.. it lasts from the minute you put it on until the minute you take it off.

2, Nars - Sheer Glow

This one I find it sort of similar to the Estee Lauder one in the way it spreads on your face and stays on all day, so that's why I love this one too! When you put this one, your skin literally feels so so soft, and the coverage is lovely.  Same as with the Estee Lauder foundation, it is a little pricey, but when you put it on you should only need to use the tiniest amount, and it then lasts for ages.

3, Mac - Studio Fix

This is one that I think almost everyone has probably tried, or at least one kind of Mac foundation, and yes don't get me wrong I love their products.. but I do think that their foundation is probably my least favourite out of all their stuff. I love this look of this when it's on, but it is quite thick and it sometimes doesn't agree with my skin if I wear it too much, which I have never had a problem with any other make-up products at all! I've never heard anything bad from other people so it must just be me, but even so, I do love the finish it leaves when you wear it and I love this for a night out! Because it is quite thick, it really does just stay on and gives you that little extra that you need between normal everyday make-up to a more glam look.

4, Benefit - Hello Flawless

I've always had Hello Flawless, it is a lovely foundation and it was like the first 'more expensive' brand that I started to try other than your typical Boots, Superdrug brands such as Rimmel, Loreal etc.  If you prefer a more natural finish to your skin, then this is perfect! I have heard a few people say they are not keen on this as they feel like it is a bit watery, which it can sort of look like when you put it on, but it does build up amazingly, and with a little bit of powder (which I always wear no matter what foundation) you will be fine! It's just the right thickness for that more natural everyday look.

5, Urban Decay - Naked Skin

This is my newest addiction to the make-up family and I've been meaning to buy this for so long! I've heard so many good things about this, and there's so many more foundations that I do want to try as well (which when I do get around to getting them, I will do another blog post) but it really is gorgeous on! This foundation is quite good for you skin as it has some natural ingredients in there (like green tea etc) which I like the thought off, as at the end of the day, it is your skin that you are applying all of these unknown products too and you really do have to take care of your skin. It's again, like the Benefit foundation, quite a thin one, but will a more built up look it looks amazing on! I love it!

Textures & Colours:

I've tried to demonstrate as best I can below the sort of textures between them all (as some are thiner than others) and also the difference in the way they look one applied slightly.  Hope this little post has helped anyone who still haven't found their all time favourite foundation and if it is because they are quite expensive, which I can completely understand, at least go and grab yourself a tester so you can try them out because they really really are worth the money in my eyes. You get what you pay for :)

Hair & Beauty: Clip In Hair Extensions

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING THIS POST HAS... but it's finally here!
Literally had so many comments recently all about hair extensions, and if you all follow me over on Instagram, you will probably know that I've recently changed from Clip In Hair Extensions to Microbeads, and I don't regret it one bit! I LOVE them! :)

However, Clip In's really have done me proud for the past few years when I've been really undecided about my hair, one minutes it's short and then I'm bored because my hair doesn't grow quick enough, so then I pop some extensions in, and then I want it short again.. yea you get the picture! And I know this is the same for so many of us girls where hair styles are constantly changing and the bobs fashionable, and then you see someone with long curly hair and you want that, then someone has really nice short hair and you want that!

My hair literally gets to a point and just stops growing. Like no matter if I didn't touch, cut, straighten, do anything with it again and just left it.. it still would not grow! And it's so frustrating. So after patiently waiting for pretty much all my life to have long hair, I've finally caved and gone for the microbeads! .. If it is that you have never worn hair extensions before and you are looking to just trial them out, then this post is perfect for you and you can watch my new YouTube Video below from the link below all about Hair Extension Talk (click on the picture for the link)

And for any of you girls who have already got some Clip In Hair Extensions and your just after a bit advice on how to look after them, how to apply them to make them look real etc, then the video I have linked below is perfect for you! (click on the picture for the link)

Collab: Lipsy Two Piece

AND HERE'S ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL LIPSY attire from the amazing Michelle Keegan Collection. Please please please, if you haven't already taken a look at her collection, especially her new collection.. then you definitely need to look! You can view everything new in at the minute by clicking here.

I swear her collection just gets nicer everytime!.. like, how?! Not that I'm complaining at all, but I'm such a massive fan of Lipsy at the minute, I feel like they've really brought so much nice stuff out recently, can't keep away ha!  And as for a cute little two piece.. I think I pretty much have a whole wardrobe now thats purely dedicated to two-pieces.. it's getting that bad!  I always imagine little co-ords and matching pieces are always summery, but this one is like the complete opposite, it's such a autumn//winter one, I just love it. And it's really classy, it's one that you could wear on a night out dressed up, or even just for some nice tea, it's not too OTT.

And as you can see here, I've also got my clip in hair extensions, which I have had so so so many questions about so now... You can view my new video on these over on my YouTube Channel, I'll also link this below for you :) And also.. use code 'DANIIIEBEZ10' for 10% any shoes over at Ego.

Collab: Laundry Boutique

SOO.. FINALLY GOT AROUND TO DOING this post, after Laundry Boutique sent me this gorgeous Khaki Jacket, literally so so nice!  If any of you are after a nice jacket which is a little thicker so this time of year but you don't want the high parker sort of coat, then something like this is perfect! It's a lot thicker than it looks and then quality is absolutely amazing for the price that it is!  They have so many gorgeous coats in too at the minute so it's definitely worth taking a look at by clicking here.

Also, a massive one for this time of year, as they were last year too is the over the knee boots. I love them, I feel like they are so flattering, probably because of the chunky heel and dark colour, but I find they make my legs look so much slimmer than usual.  And, they are the comfiest things ever, so if you haven't already brought some because your worried about the heel etc, i definitely recommend getting some for this winter! I think they also look incredible with skinny jeans too (maybe my next outfit idea ha).

And a little discount code for anyone who does want shoes from Ego, use 'DANIIIEBEZ10' for 10% off your purchase :)

And lastly, of course this beaut dress, which I've only worn one other time apart from doing these photos, and had so many compliments on it! It's not very often I wear day dresses, or anything like this apart from dresses on a night out, but this one really is gorgeous. It's sort of a straight dress, which most of the time I find is not flattering on my shape at all, but this one really does look nice on and I feel so comfortable wearing it!
