SOOO... This is something I get asked absolutely loads about! And seeing as though my last & first make-up post I did has been my biggest post of all time, I thought it was about time to update it a little bit to show you all my make-up newbies! I'm gonna try to one of these a little more often whenever I change a few of my make-up products and things I use to create different looks.
So firstly.. here's me all plain faced, with nothing at all applied. My skin care regime is all on my other post that I popped on last week, so if you want any info from that, it's called 'My Everyday Essentials'.
So EVERY single time I wake up before I apply anything I always just pop a little 'chap lip' balm to my lips, I don't know why to be completely honest but it just stops my lips from drying on from any make-up that goes on them or lipsticks etc.
So in terms of make-up, the first thing I will always apply is 'Pore fessional' from Benefit. Absolute god-send! It's a little pricey (around £24 per bottle) but I definitely definitely recommend it! It completely evens my skin out ready for me to apply my foundation and I always notice a massive difference in the way my skin looks after using it.
Top Top Top foundation in my eyes.. 'Estee Lauder Double Wear'. Once again.. a little on the pricey side but I definitely believe that you get what you pay for with this product. I have no end of people ask me what foundation I use because they love the way my skin looks all the time, and it really does last from when I apply it in the morning all through the day!
So I do have a few different powders that I use and I tend to mix them up from day-to-day.. but my love for this 'Mac Mineralize' powder has grown massively recently, and this is in shade Medium. I have had this for years and it's still going strong! Gives me the best coverage and goes so nice with the foundation I use.
The next one I actually got free when you purchased two Rimmel products, and it's absolutely amazing! Probably only about £5 anyway but probably the best freebie I've ever had! I use this for an all over finish and it really does look natural, hence why it's called a 'Natural Bronzer'.
Here's another one for those who love contouring and bronzing like myself, and again.. is only like £6. Its got three different shades inside of it, a highlighter and two darker contour colours. Goes on so easily and it's really easy to blend if your not a make-up godess like myself!
One here that I have done a previous review on beforehand, but I think I use this every single day.. and it still practically looks the same as when I brought it ha! I tend to use the lighter side of this little pallette, and it really gives my face a little shimmer and looks nice against any contouring or bronzer that you may have put on.
Once again, another one I have done a previous review about, but live by this! This is probably the second most asked about product that I get, I have recommended this to so many people because they are always asking what I use on my brows. The easiest thing to apply and you can make it as thick or as light as possible, and this is in shade 'Awe' by Illamasqua.
This is something I without a doubt need to be purchasing another one off! Like my most favourite eye shadow palette ever! If your like me and totally experienced in what to do with eyeshadows and just want some nice grey's and black's to get some smokey eyes, then I highly recommend this one. So so easy to use, apply, blend.. whatever you wanna do :) And this is Naked No.1, as they have a few different ones.
So firstly with this one I use shade '' and just go around the crease on the very outside of my eye and gradually work my way lightly into the inner part of my eye.
Just to blend the dark into something a little lighter, I tend to go for '' which is a beautiful gold colour, or even a lighter shade but still something with a little shimmer in it just to brighten it up a little.
For the line above my eyelashes on the upper lid, I tend to get a more defined line using '', and if your after a more dramatic look, then you can even apply this to the very outside of you eye and into your crease, sometimes what I do for nights out etc.
Another product that I don't think I can ever stop using, this 'Push-Up Liner' by Benefit. I would say this is probably the easiest eye liner I have ever used, and especially if your after any kind of winged eye-liner, this is definitely the one for you! I can't actually stress enough how much love I have for this!
This one is just a regular eye liner from 'Maybelline' I will tend to use this for my bottom eye lash line just to add a little extra to my smokey eye look, but it sometimes can look really nice on my upper eye lid too if I'm toning my eyes down a little, and once again probably only around £5 and lasts forever!
So I think here I have used both of these mascara's, I normally use maybe two different ones on a day to day basis just to get as much length and thickness to my lashes as possible. These two are my most favourite mascara's though, 'Rimmel Scandaleyes' and 'Benefit's They're Real'. If you don't mind spending the money on mascara, I definitely recommend purchasing the Benefit one, but the Rimmel one is also amazing if your after something a little less pricey but with a similar effect!
Always getting questioned on my lipsticks and liners, and I am currently working on a post just purely on both lipsticks and lipliners, but for this particular look I went with one of my favourite everyday ones. This is Mac's 'Honey Love' lipstick and 'Spice' Lipliner. Nude is my favourite look for lips and have so many to mix and match with these shades which all look amazing.
And so there we have my Newest Everyday make-up haul and all my new products and tips that I use. I do stress that I am not a professional by any means, but for those who are on a similar level to me in the make-up world, then I hope this helps you out :) I've also linked all the products I use underneath.
Enjoy x
